FINDLAY -- Roger L. Core, 92, of Findlay, passed away peacefully and into the loving arms of Jesus, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1932, to Russel H. and Mary Edith (LaRue) Core in Lima, Ohio. Roger is survived by his daughter, Jeanne (Ron) Rollins; son, Craig (Lynda) Core; daughter, Cindy (Bruce) Ream; daughter, Jen (Chris) Schoonover; grandchildren, Kevin, Jordan, Sam, Hannah, Justin, Aaron, Rachel, Cody, Jessica, Caleb, Cory and Zachary; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Maddox, Hunter, Xander, and Charlotte. Additionally, he is survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law, several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two beloved wives, Winifred (Steiner) Core and Barbara Jean (Thomas) Core; and his son, Charles Core. Roger married Winifred on February 14, 1953 and she passed away on March 2. 1965. He married Barbara on January 7, 1966 and they celebrated 57 years of marriage. B
