Dion Marcellus Florence, 54 of Lima, passed away March 15, 2025.
Dion was born September 29, 1970 in Lima to Edward and Mary (Chitman) Florence, who preceded him in death.
Dion was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. He loved listening to music, he was very energetic and in touch with the universe. Dion had a smile that could light up the room and a passion for life. He was the "TRUTH". Dion loved spending time with his friends and family and they held a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Dion is survived by his son, Martrivis Burns; granddaughter, Mariah Burns; grandson, Martrivis "MJ" Burns, Jr.; siblings, Terry Lynn Florence, Nicole Olivia Florence, Maceo Valdez Florence, Jerrell Akeem Florence, Camille Ruth Shantell Florence, Stacee Eugenia Smart and Steve Von Smart; special aunt, Shirley Chitman; special brothers, Demetrius Shurelds and Keith Durr and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friend
