DALLAS, TX -- David Lee Beer, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away March 11, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born November 5, 1954, in Lima, Ohio, Dave graduated from Lima Senior High School and then received a mechanical engineering degree from Ohio Northern University. Dave moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1982 to pursue his career, working for Texas Instruments and MSC Software, where he made lasting contributions and lifelong friendships. A passionate Ohio State Buckeye fan, Dave bled scarlet and gray, proudly cheering on his team through every season. He loved attending games in Columbus at "The Shoe" with his brothers. He was featured on the cover of USA Today following the Buckeye's 2015 National Title with youngest brother, Kevin, bearing "O-H" in body paint. An avid golfer, Dave was a longtime member of Prestonwood Country Club. He played often and traveled frequently with his Blue Margarita Group throughout the country and in Scotland.
