Cheryl "Cherl" A. Cook, 66, of Fostoria and formerly of Findlay, has gone home to be with her savior, Jesus on March 9, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center of Findlay.
Cheryl was born to Carl "Duke" and Carol (Fruchey) McKitrick in Findlay on April 28, 1958. Cheryl married Steven Cook on May 27, 1989 at the First United Brethren Church, and he survives.
Cheryl was a lifetime member of the First United Brethren Church of Findlay. She was known for loving her sweets (especially Dietsch's malted milk balls), Brae's amazing cooking, and vanilla milk shakes. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spreading the Gospel of Jesus, and was a caring person who loved her nursing job. Cheryl graduated from Findlay High School in 1976 and graduated with her nursing degree in 1985 from Owens Community College. She also worked at Whirlpool before obtaining her nursing degree.
