Bluffton
Jill Ann Miller passed from this earth to her long awaited home on March 2nd 2025. Many of you may have recognized her as she rode her bike or walked down the streets of Bluffton but I would venture that not many of you really knew Jill. She was a smallish freckled and reddish haired lady that always seemed slightly disheveled. She always seemed to have an older face, even when I first met her almost 30 years ago. I was new to Bluffton and started attending a church. Jill was a regular there. She was kind and inviting and seemed to speak faster than her thoughts could keep up with. I remember her vividly because during the service Jill had a seizure. Someone sat beside Jill but did not intervene. I learned Jill had epilepsy and instructed others to just let it play itself out. Those episodes were rare but it dictated her life by restricting what she could or couldn't do. Jill rode away on her bike, in typical Jill fashion.
