Ronald Wayne Laman, age 88, peacefully passed away on July 1, 2024, at The Meadows of Delphos, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 21, 1935, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Harold J. and Bonnylyn (Hodde) Laman.
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna M. Fletcher, whom he married on December 23, 1954, and who passed away on December 18, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Pat Rumer, and his son-in-law, Bob Moyer.
Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Ron was always ready with a joke and had a knack for giving nicknames to his friends and family. He was deeply loyal to his friends and cherished his family, including his two dogs, Charlie and Lulu.
Ron was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #370 in Lima, Ohio. He liked playing pool and was an enthusiastic fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. During his time at The Meadows, Ron enjoyed bird watching, finding joy in observing birds that approached his window.
