WAPAKONETA -- Julian R. Tarini, 86, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:49 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's. He was born on October 5, 1937 in Toledo, to Dominico and Emma (White) Tarini, who have preceded him in death. On March 7, 1959, he married Patricia A. Griesinger, who passed away on December 16, 2019. Survivors include the five children, Connie (Norman) Yager, Debi (Mike) Hoy, Robert (Aida) Tarini, Crystal Limbert, and Susan Baumer; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Williams; and three nephews, along with their spouses and children. Julian was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Jasmine; and brother-in-law, Ivan Williams. For many years, Julian worked at Chrysler, Perrysburg, until it closed and he transferred to the Lima Tank Plant. Julian retired from the Tank Plant and then began working at the Allen-Oakwood Correctional Institution, Lima, where he was "Pops" to the inmates. Following retirement from Oakwood, Julian worked
