David E. "Moe" Moran, 75, of Lima passed away at 10:30 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on January 20, 1949, in Lima to Owen "Bud" and Clara Mae (Wilson) Moran, who both preceded him in death.
Moe retired as the manager of the shipping department at Dana Corporation after 44 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He played basketball at the Ohio State Lima Branch for two years and played on softball, basketball and bowling leagues into his forties. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football. Moe loved all his friends and waitresses at Fat Jack's, Casa Lu Al and Lock 16.
Surviving are his daughter Kelly (Chad) Lauck of Lima; his son David (Sayana) Moran of Belmont, NC; his grandchildren Brooke Shultz, Brittany Lauck, Max Moran and Finn Moran; his great-grandchild Bodhin Brown; his siblings Donna Moran of Wildwood, FL, Diana (Russell) Kitchen, F.t Laududale, FL, Deborah Daley, Lima, OH, Denise (Doug) Zimmerman, Spencerv
